An amazing kraut record, basically a kraut supergroup as there are two members of Cluster and one member Neu! that make up the band. A lot of people seem to want to call this album an ambient album, I really struggle to do so. Although there are some amazingly beautiful soundscapes and ambient textures there is just too much energy, vocals, and pop structure/melodies for me to simply call it ambient. This album had a lot of influence on Brian Eno (who would later collaborate with this band) and it is made explicity obvious on the song Monza Rauf Und Runter which is basically just an early version of the song "Red Sails" on Bowie and Eno's Lodger album. Though my favorite song has to be the first, Immer Wieder.
